Independence Day - SEI

Independence Day

Independence Day is celebrated on 15th August every year to commemorate the freedom achieved by India from the colonial rule of the British. The celebration inspires us to stay united and live with brotherhood. Our responsibility is to maintain the glory that the freedom fighters have brought to India. Every Indian must know that peace, harmony, and brotherhood lie at the root of Indian culture.

The celebration of Independence Day at SEI reflected the spirit of patriotism and respect for our culture. The event began with the Guard of Honour given to the Chief Guest: Ln. Tm. Dr. (WgCdr) A. Nagasubramaniam, followed by the Flag Hoisting and Chief Guest Address.

Patriotic songs, dances, and drill performances were on display by the students of SEI, right from the Pre-primary to the College level. The feeling of oneness reverberated throughout the celebration.
